Our distinctive Salt Rising Bread boasts a unique flavor, aroma, and texture crafted from our special sour and sponge. Made with a cultured salt rising yeast, it contains no more salt than ordinary bread, yet offers an unparalleled taste experience. The name may trace back to the use of hot rock salt, which keeps the sour and sponge warm during the 12-hour fermentation process. Each loaf contains approximately 20 slices of this exceptional bread.
